What this policy covers

This policy applies to minoradventures.co. Our product websites, amicons.design and smallbits.design, publish their own privacy policies.

What we collect and why

When you email us. If you write to hello@minoradventures.co or use a contact link on this site, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in your message. We use this to reply to you and to keep a record of our correspondence. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.

When you subscribe to our list. We offer a subscription for product drops and discounts. If you subscribe, we collect your email address and use it only to send you those emails. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by writing to us. Our subscriber list is handled by FormSpark.

When you buy one of our products. Our icon sets are sold through their own websites, and purchases are processed by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record. Creem is the seller of record for your purchase: it takes your payment, handles applicable tax, and issues your invoice. Creem processes your payment details, and we never see or store your card information. Creem passes us limited order information, such as your name, email address, country, and what you bought, so that we can deliver the product, provide support, and keep the records we are legally required to keep. Legal basis: performance of a contract, and compliance with a legal obligation under Dutch bookkeeping and tax rules. Creem also processes personal data under its own privacy policy.

When you visit this site. This website is hosted by Framer. Like any web host, Framer’s servers automatically log technical information whenever a page is requested, including your IP address, your browser and device type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a functioning and secure website.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, how many people visit this site and which pages they read. It is configured so that it does not identify individual visitors and does not follow you across other websites. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our own site.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. We use only the cookies necessary to deliver this website and remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies that track you across other websites. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers:

  • Framer – website hosting and infrastructure

  • Creem – merchant of record and payment processing for our paid products

  • Gmail – our business email

  • Google Analytics – aggregated website statistics

We may also disclose personal data where we are legally required to do so, for example to a tax authority or in response to a valid legal request.

Transfers outside Europe

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered either by a European Commission adequacy decision or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Emails and correspondence: for as long as we need them for the enquiry or project, and a reasonable period afterwards.

  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.

  • Purchase and invoicing records: seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.

  • Server logs and aggregated statistics: for the retention periods set by the providers listed above.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you

  • have inaccurate data corrected

  • have your data deleted

  • restrict or object to how we use it

  • receive your data in a portable format

  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To exercise any of these, email hello@minoradventures.co. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your personal data badly, please tell us first, so we have a chance to put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or with the supervisory authority in the country where you live.

Children

This website and our products are intended for professional and adult use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a material change, we will say so on this page.
